Betty's obituary

Betty Ireland King age 88 passed peacefully in her sleep on March 5, 2021 at Skyline Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Woodstock, Virginia. She was born March 4th, 1933 in Federalsburg, MD to Edgar and Elenor Ireland.
Betty graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She later went on to attend Salisbury State University majoring in Special Education.

Above all she cherished time with those she held most dear. Betty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, friend and teacher who will be deeply missed. She also enjoyed gardening, her pets and was an avid reader.
Betty's family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Skyline Terrace Assisted Living. She enjoyed being there and would frequently comment on how wonderfully they treated her. On February 4th, 2020 she was crowned their Valentines Queen, an event she loved to reminisce about.
