It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Jean King, 91, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, who departed this life on September 2, 2025, surrounded by family.
Betty was born on October 5, 1933, in Navasota, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Jim and Mamie Gilbert. She grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Booker T. Washington High school and attended Wiley College.
