Obituary

Betty Jean (Grant) Campbell was the second daughter of the late Lurlie Mae Gideon Grant and the late Earl Grant. She was born in Washington, D.C. on May 18, 1943.

Betty attended Boston Conservatory where she majored in dance. She graduated from University of District of Columbia with a degree in early childhood education. She taught pre-kindergarten and kindergarten over 30 years in Washington, D.C. public schools including Ruth K. Webb Elementary and Bancroft Elementary …
