Mrs. Betty Jean Burns Galbreath, age 87, of the Sharpe Spur Community, Ailey, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019, in Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, after a brief illness. She was born in Wayne County, grew up in the Kibbee Community, and lived most of her life in Sharpe Spur. Early in her life, she was the overseer of the family’s one hundred acre farm.
