There is so much I remember about grandma Betty. I remember our nights together just the two of us, me sitting on her lap and just watching movies. I remember she loved old westerns, animal planet and game shoes like jeopardy. She taught me how to cook and bake. She loved to play card games and small table games. I remember thinking how smart and knowledgeable she was at just about any topic. I remember her funny little stories she would tell about her life and shared so much with us about where and how she grew up. She was such a strong and loving women to me. I was so happy that I was able to make it home to see her and visit with her a couple more times before she passed away. I will miss you and love you forever and always grandma. Thank you for being you.
When I was younger and I went to Grandma Betty's house, I was always so excited and I would always collect mesquite pods I would smash them with rocks and go show Grandma Betty. Usually, after I finished smashing or doing whatever, Grandma Betty and I would always start watching Jeopardy. Grandma Betty also taught me how to play Golf, and I remember going over with Michael and Grandma Betty, Michael, and I played Golf for a few hours. Whenever I play Golf I am sure that I will remember Grandma Betty and I will be happy.
I learned a lot about Grandma Betty in the last few months of her life. She doesn't like grape juice, she collects coins, and she loves to travel, but more than that, I saw how much Grandma Betty cared for all of us. Even though Grandma was on her deathbed, she only wanted to see us be happy and laugh. Grandma taught me to write in cursive, and how to make the most of a bad time.

The thing that I remember the most about Grandma Betty was visiting her as a child in Colorado. When I visited her as a child it was the first time I slept on a cot and was able to watch the squirrels playing in her backyard. The other part that I remember about visiting Grandma Betty was when I had to leave looking out the back window and waving good bye. I always loved visiting her as a child and as a adult. She will be a part of our lives forever.
Something I will always remember was the last time I got to spend time with Betty. I got to take her to Bingo at Haven. We got to spend a great hour together playing Bingo. She was so happy being able to find the numbers and rarely had to ask for help. It was her first time back in a while and she truly enjoyed the time. It was a blessing to see her happy and having a good time.
