Beth's obituary

We regretfully announce the passing of Beth Pritchett of Delmar, NY on February 7th, 2023.

Our mother, Margaret Elizabeth Pritchett, was better known by her family and friends as Beth. She was born to Jim and Gwen Hardin in Houston, TX on June 13th, 1977. Most of her childhood was spent in Little Rock, Arkansas, growing up alongside her brother, James. Beth graduated from Hall High School and went on to study history at the University of Central Arkansas, where she was a proud member of the Tri-Sigma sorority. After graduating, she moved from Arkansas to the Northeast to attend Albany Law School (class of 2003). She spent 24 wonderful years in Delmar, NY and most recently was a Principle Consultant for the New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation. She enjoyed writing, crafting, knitting, and reading. She was a wonderful cook and an even better friend to those around her.

Beth’s pride and joy was being a mom to her three children, Elisabeth (27), Gracelyn (17), and Michael (11). She was hardworking, thoughtful, and kind in everything that she did, fiercely loving and protecting her kids through the highs and lows of life. She will always be known for her humor and red hair. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her but are proud to carry on her legacy knowing that she instilled the best of her in us. Beth is survived by her children, parents, and brother.
