Bertyl Eugene Downs, 80, of Springfield, NJ passed away peacefully on August 14, 2021. Bertyl is predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen Marie (Mohr) Downs; his parents, Thomas and Edna Marie (Frieberg) Downs; and his brothers Melvin and Travis Downs. Bert is survived by his loving son, Stephen Downs and daughter-in-law Kristen of Tinton Falls, N.J.; his nephews, Frederick Mohr of Eatontown, N.J.; and Wayne Mohr.
