Bertha, aka Bert, Babe, Babydoll, was born on July 15, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the baby of the family, born to Peter & Bertha Deschner and the little sister to Tony & Tessie. She grew up on Detroit's east side and attended St. Thomas and Lutheran High School East. She began her 39 …
