I have so many great memories of Bert, but one of my favorites is the time when we were at Beach Reach together with the BSU. We sat outside a gas station, across from Spinnekers (might be spelling that wrong, lol), and shared Jesus with a college kid who had been left by his buddies. Bert poured out his heart, I read Scripture, and this guy gave his life to Jesus that night. I’ll never forget it! I’m thankful for the many moments where I saw Jesus shine through Bert, on that trip and then years to come. I’m thankful too that we’ll see him again.  Sarah Mae, I love you dear friend, so very, very much!
