Bert's obituary

A powerful presence, he was best known for his jovial character, profound caring nature, and an extraordinary commitment towards hard work. He leaves behind his daughters, Brandy Gibson (Delyn Gibson) and Tina Miller, and son, Daniel Little (Megan Little). He also survives beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. He joins his parents, Ellen Mae and Roy Wilson, who preceded him along with siblings.
His life was marked by a sincere love for simple pleasures. A fan of Gold Star Chili and White Castle, Bert also held a deep appreciation for Coffee, which was his favorite beverage.
Bert was a person of varied interests, ranging from the sounds of Brooks and Dunn to the storylines in the Andy Griffith show. His favorite movie was the classic 'One Who Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', and enjoyed watching the Bengals. In his leisure time, he loved working outdoors and chopping wood.
An enthusiastic and generous soul, Bert loved dogs. All of his dogs he owned were rescues and he loved his animals so much.
There was no task too large or task too small that Bert could not handle. His guiding principle was to lend a helping hand whenever needed - a mantra he lived by and passed onto those around him. One of his proudest achievements was designing and building a bridge with his son, a testament to his creative and practical skills.
Remembered for his wisdom, humor, and tireless work ethic, Bert left an imprint on all who knew him. His legacy is that of a mentor and a role model. He has passed down his valuable labor skills to friends and family, ensuring that his can-do spirit lives on. As we remember Bert, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man who truly made a difference.
