My dear brother never had an ounce of unkindness in his heart he always gave whatever he had to anyone in need
Many times he’s opened his home to people in need. I am forever appreciative for he housed my son when he had no where to stay
Even when he didn’t have much he always shared what he could
My big brother Bernie will always be forever in my heart ♥️🙏🏽☝🏼🥗

Hi I met Bernie at my very first experience working in childcare as a highschooler at UBCCC. I was in the ROP program studying child development. I always knew I wanted to work with young children just didn't know in what aspect. When I walked into Bernie's classroom with his 4 year olds and saw what he did and learned from him. He helped me make up my mind to be an early childhood educator. He showed me how he showed these young children the love for music and art. He played his guitar and sang our preschool songs throughout the day. I was hooked. Since then I became the bestof friends with the whole family and grew up with them. I am still to this day an early childhood educatorbecause of his encouragement and influence. Thank you Bernie from the bottom of my heart not only for helping me with my path and journey and education but also for being a good friend. Thank you for making a positive influence to all those around you.

I knew your Dad when we were young.We grew up together and shared a lot of good times together.There people in life that you meet that you enjoy being around and your Dad was one of the best at making things a little better.Your Dad played matchmaker in 1994 when he asked me to go help DJ with him.I met my future wife Raquel.We both lived are lives but still stayed in touch.He always remembered my birthday.I never met his children but maybe some day we will.I’m sure he would like that.Your Dad Will always be in my heart and thoughts and Raquel’s.Hope to see all of you someday.Desmond Dustine and Vivian❤️
