Jon, Orlene, and Moran-Rossi family,

We are so sorry for the loss of Bernie. We are so grateful for the unconditional love she gave, letting all become family to her.

We wish we could be there tomorrow, but give our love.

- The Chopyks

My condolences to Bernie's immediate family the Rossis and Schardingers, Aunt Bernie and cousins Billy, Tommy, Terry, Kenny, Kevin and Cara. A beautiful, red haired, jovial Irish Lass with the gift of gab who loved to laugh has left us too soon. She always had a kind word and was truely interested in hearing about your life. My fondest memories are of the Christmas parties when Uncle Freddy would play Santa Claus and summer pool parties with the Morans, Neglers, Frames and Bowdlers in the 50's and 60's.
I hope everyone remembers Bernie's ever present smile that warmed every event we ever shared with her. That type of warmth is rare and beautiful.  I wish you the best in your travels aunt bernie. Love u

My fondest memory of Bernie is how much she loved the patients in the Family Practice of Dr. James Rossi’s practice . She was so proud of her family. It was a privilege and an honor to know her. My heart goes out to Dr. And all her family. Helen Konstance

Bernie was my best friend's cousin. We were the same age. I had met Bernie a couple of times at Mary Moran's house. I graduated in 1972 and had applied to HUP's nursing program. While waiting with my mother for the interview, I noticed another girl and her mother. I knew she looked familiar, but I  couldn't figure out why. We eventually realized the connection. We were both accepted into the school and got to be friends. As the years passed, we still had the Moran/Negler connection. I am sorry for both families.
To Aunt Bernadette and family. I am so sorry to hear about Bernadette. You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Patty Walsh
