Benton, I still think of you. You and I met back at Earth Haven when my little girls were just teeny. Now they are adults. Even then I looked forward to going to the trading post and getting my little supplies and seeing you behind the computer always so quick witted and funny. Then later on in life, we danced to many a band together. The joyous way that you danced always made me smile. You always had the best hugs! Later in life, we shared many a prayer together around a stone pit. We shared laughter, and tears. I know that your son was some thing that you really adored in life. I hope that he and his family know that he was loved and appreciated and we miss him. I know that prayers are still being said in lodges, etc. for Benton. Gone but never forgotten. Love and condolences to his family.

 Drink in the knowingness of union with God while you master the cheesecake recipes handed down by light hearted angels for generations.

I miss you big brother. I know your smiling over there. Until we meet again. 

Oh Benton. Thank you for always being a really good friend to me. 

How you prayed, really impacted me. How you were always present in the moment, and how grateful for each breath of life you had reminded me of the blessing that being human and on earth is. 

You always showed up for me with coffee, conversation and love.

The music you made did not feel like it was created by a 55 yr old, you were an old soul in a forever young vessel. 

Your child like wonder and perspective will forever stay with me  

I’m so grateful to have had you in my life.  I am so grateful to have experienced the full range of ups and downs with you  

You are forever in my heart and mind, and will see you soon dear brother 🤍
