Love you Michelle and your family. Praying for you, your children and of course your sister, brother & Dad as you prepare for tomorrow. Your Mom was in touch with me about Ben and also when he passed. I happen to come across this tonight. He sounds wonderful and I am so happy for the life you had together. I want you to know my time of watching you grow, laughing and talking w your Mom over the years, Directing the Nursery, assisting her w the Children’s Camps, etc. were some of the best times of my life. Pat, Kim, Richelle, Bobbie & Pastors Fred & Darryl filled me up w so much love and care that it still sticks with me to this day. I miss Bobbie. I miss your Mom. When I heard about Ben's passing, I was heartbroken for the loss of his life, and for Michelle and the boys. There are no adequate words to express the devastating magnitude of losing Ben to cancer. May God grant the Settles wisdom, strength, and peace. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.

Ben sure was an easy guy to like. I only spent a handful of times with him but he always made you feel welcome and that smile made you feel better. It was plain to see that he and Michelle belonged together. So many people will miss him, that and his faith are a great legacy for his precious sons. Prayers and hugs as you navigate this season.

I miss the Bike to Work rides with Ben and other Audi and VW colleagues. Ben counted on the ride to get his annual maintenance done by the volunteer mechanics :) . It was the best way to start a work day! #NeverSettle.
