Benjamin (Benny) Louis Peña, 33, passed away suddenly on May 27, 2024 at his home in Carlsbad, New Mexico

He and his wife, Allie, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on May 5, 2024. Benny recently celebrated his 5th anniversary with Chevron having just accepted a promotion to Maintenance Planner.

Benny most enjoyed riding his motorcycle, archery, golfing, and being in nature. He always had a funny joke waiting for anyone that needed it, although most were slightly inappropriate for whatever situation was at hand. He will be remembered for being the biggest supporter of his friends and family never failing to support their achievements or be there on the bad days.

He is survived by; his wife, Allie Peña, grandmother Marlene Edmondson, mother Mary Peña and father Ben Peña, sister Katy Peña, sister-in-law Hope Howard and her husband Chris, mother-in-law Stephanie Martin. Ben also had numerous nieces and nephews; Jett, Tyler, Jaycen, Ellie and Marlena who he deeply enjoyed spoiling.

Ben is survived by a large chosen family including; Colby Lynn and her children; Amira, Isla, and Deklan, Brette Perez and her husband Justin, Jose (Tiny) Flores.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Andrew Edmondson, Aunt Teri Edmondson, Sister Amber Edmondson, and father-in-law Les Posey.

Benny’s life will be honored in a private event on Saturday, June 1, 2024 per his wishes.
