It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benjamin Majam on March 29, 2023. Born in 1937 in Carigara, Leyte, Philippines, Benjamin lived a life full of love, warmth, and joy. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family lifting him up in prayer and hymns. A dedicated educator, Benjamin's passion for teaching has touched countless lives throughout his career.

Benjamin had a deep love for his family and is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Narcisa, and his children, Nerissa Heldridge, Mariquita Labrado, Grepa Razon, Linabel Sajo, and Ben Cris Majam, along with his grand children James Heldridge, Yeshua & Marik Labrado, Benjamin Peter Razon, Sean & Alec Sajo, and Ty Benjamin, Victoria, & Twila Majam. His dedication and selflessness as a father will always be remembered and cherished by his children.

A man of many talents, Benjamin filled his life with music and laughter. He had a fondness for playing chess, guitar, and ukulele, often delighting others with his beautiful singing voice. An avid fisherman, he found tranquility and peace in the great outdoors. Benjamin's warm, welcoming, and friendly nature made him a beloved member of his community.

His generosity extended far beyond his family, as Benjamin's love for God shone brightly in his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. A devout man, he found solace in the teachings of his faith and served as an inspiration to those around him.

We celebrate the life of Benjamin Majam and honor his memory as we bid farewell to this exceptional man. While he may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
