Benjamin Michael Latham, 30, of Washington, NC, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC. A celebration of Ben’s life will be held at a later date.
Ben was born on October 6, 1994, in Oxford County, Maine, the son of Edward William Latham III and Bunny Kai Knox Pounds. Following his formal education, Ben pursued a career as an engineering designer, while also contributing to the family businesses, Kona Ice and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee of Greenville, NC.
Ben had a passion for many things—tinkering, 3D printing, gaming, designing, music, and cooking. He was known for his selflessness, creativity, and his ability to bring light into the lives of those around him. Even on the darkest of days, Ben could always be counted on for love, support, and laughter. His ability to approach life with humor, strength, and a unique problem-solving mindset was unmatched. Ben cherished his time with family and friends, and his love was as boundless as his talents. He was also deeply committed to giving back, proudly becoming an organ donor to help others.
