I was very saddened to hear about Ben's passing just this past week. Ben worked with me at the New School and was a contributing member of my research team on Taoist Cognitive Therapy. He was hardworking and intellectually curious, and dedicated to supporting and serving the Chinese immigrant community in NYC. He spent many weekdays and Saturdays at school assisting with our research, and was always willing to pitch in as needed. I will remember his generous and compassionate spirit. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Barbara - while I didn't know Ben, I've heard from many of your strength and the world of loving friends who are with you continually. It feels insufficient to say, as is our custom, "may his memory be a blessing." Rather, there's a Yiddish expression that roughly means the child was smart, knew to pick a good home.
