Thinking of our beautiful Ben…

Thinking of our beautiful Ben <3
I know that Ben lives on in many ways, although that does not make missing his physical presence any easier.  You have both been remarkable in negotiating daily life in the wake of Ben's passing.  With enormous love, Kirby & Eric

Dear Barbara and Julia,

Sending you both hugs today and thinking of how much joy Ben brought you and so many others and how much he was loved.

Janice Geldwert

I was very saddened to hear about Ben's passing just this past week.  Ben worked with me at the New School and was a contributing member of my research team on Taoist Cognitive Therapy. He was hardworking and intellectually curious, and dedicated to supporting and serving the Chinese immigrant community in NYC.  He spent many weekdays and Saturdays at school assisting with our research, and was always willing to pitch in as needed. I will remember his generous and compassionate spirit. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Sending my heartfelt condolences. I've worked with Ben at the New School on the Taoist project and he was such a kind and gentle soul.  May he rest in peace.

Dear Barbara and Julia,
Words can not express my condolences for you over the loss of Ben. I only just learned and I can’t imagine how you must feel. I met him once at the Altschul square dance when he was very little. So sweet. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Laurie
With our heartfelt condolences,

Dear Barbara and Julia,
Our very deepest condolences on Ben's passing.
Barbara - while I didn't know Ben, I've heard from many of your strength and the world of loving friends who are with you continually. It feels insufficient to say, as is our custom, "may his memory be a blessing." Rather, there's a Yiddish expression that roughly means the child was smart, knew to pick a good home. In the bits that our paths have crossed over the years, that's exceedingly clear - Ben was loved and cherished. Wishing you and Julia peace and strength.
Thinking of you, Barbara and Julia. 🙏🏼❤️
There are no words for the grief which you must be enduring. Karen and I can only hope that our support and that of the HHREC community will bring you some solace. As my parents taught me, through deed and silence, this is a life filled with suffering and some dread - it is only through the love of our family and friends that keeps me going forward. As my mother taught me, "Don't let the bastards get you down."
