He was born on October 24, 1951, in Bani, Pangasinan, Philippines, as the fourth son of the late Gavino and Corazon Ignacio, among seven siblings. His departure leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Ben was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife, Lilia Ignacio, and a devoted father to his two children, Patrick Ignacio and Maricel Ignacio Gonzales. He cherished his role as a father and strived to provide a better life for his children, ensuring they had opportunities he did not. Ben worked tirelessly in the pharmaceutical industry, where he spent most of his years as a dedicated employee.
