Ben Benny Basham all names that your friends would call you. We met in college for two reasons 1. We had all of our classes together and we shared a wall at the on campus houses we lived on and 2. We were ment to be life long friends. You were a force to be reckoned with Ben. I have so many memories of us together and they have all come flooding back to me. One that really stuck out to me was the first time I saw you and Becki together, it was in college and we were all getting home from being out and I heard your laugh so I stopped to wait for you and then I heard beck's laugh as you were carrying her. I was like hmmm what oh hell ya my best friend from high school and the best guy I know are hanging out hell ya this is going to be epic. Then when they reconnected years later I still had that same excitement. There are so many other stories but I'm sure I'm limited on how much I can type here. As Vassessa said yesterday you gave the best hugs when we would see you, I would love to get a big Benny hug right now. Watch over Becki Knox and the rest of your friends and family Ben. See you on the other side.

Ps. I went and had the best biscuits and gravy yesterday I'm sure you had something to do with that. 🤔😄😀
We had the privilege of meeting Ben when Becki (his girlfriend at the time ) and h e shared a very special memory of the first time he met her (the beautiful smile, face, and how she looked in her red skirt! ! We were so blessed to spend time on vacation in Vail, Vegasl(their wedding) the hospital when handsome Knox was born, Vineland and at their home. Auntie Charlotte and Uncle Mike and cousins are very saddened for Becki, Knox’s lost!! I know Ben was a Christian and we will be see him in Heaven! God be with you and meet your loved ones at the river God Speed! Auntie Charlotte, Uncle Mike and family 😢❤️✝️
your laugh was infectious, your weather reports were the most accurate around bar none, and your “carpet putting” skills were insane!! God’s speed Benny, until we meet again.
Benny was one of the funniest, well read and kindest people I have ever known. From shopping at Gordman’s, to collapsing the neighbors table, to the endless inside jokes and innuendos, my face hurt from giggling when we hung out. He had a razor sharp wit and could make anything funny. We could strike up a conversation about any subject, sports, music, movies, whatever and never be bored. He loved his family immensely. I know the is true by the fondness in his voice and the smile on his face when he spoke about them. I will miss his exceptional voice and laugh and his face for radio, LOL! I will miss the random silly texts he would send and the way he would greet me when we met up. Rest in peace brother…
Always enjoyed hanging out with you Ben. Lots of great laughs and you always pointed out the good thing about a person. Always positive, I loved that about you. Your passing was too soon and you will be missed my friend.
Ben you will be missed by many. No one could light up a room or tell a joke like you. I can hear your silly laugh in my head endlessly. Erika always wanted you to wear tighter pants so she can see your booty too. We miss you so much and will always celebrate you, never to be forgotten. Love you to the moon and back. Boomer Sooner
