I know I am years too late but I just discovered about the passing of John's Dad, Benjamin. I want to offer our condolences to your mom and all your family. John I was just going through old photos and came across photos of you and Jennifer and the most beautiful letter you wrote to me when you were at Fort Sill OK. It was the most beautiful letter I have ever gotten. It has been over 30 years and her spirit is alive with me. I hope you have been having a full and beautiful life all these years....I am not on FB so I was blessed to find this info on your Dad. Keep your family close to your heart! Love that you were a part of Jennifer's life. Take care, Love Jeannie
My deepest condolences go out to Ginger, Audri, Andrew, their siblings and children. Losing the patriarch of the family is a time of great heartache and sense of loss. Please know that although no one can ever fill Ben's shoes, you can find his strength, love, and guidance in the footsteps of his children and grandchildren...who are also the most precious gifts he left for Ginger. Tell the stories of his life, who he impacted, the amazing and unique aspects of his character and his passions to each other and to his grandkids. May you find comfort for your broken hearts as soon as possible so you can smile as you share his life story with others.
In Hawaii, Aloha has several meanings: Hello, Love, and Goodbye... I guess that takes care of a life... to my father, Benjamin Aceves, jr. I give you my fondest Love, and Aloha... Gina and family
When we were very young we all lived in Rowland Heights, California. Our two oldest children played together and attended Rowland Elementary School. Audri and Becky remain friends. They both live in Michigan. I have been in touch with Ginger for the past few years in Facebook. I keep saying that I am traveling downstate to see her, but never have yet. This summer I intend to keep my promise.
