Ben was funny, fun, curious, intelligent & thoughtful. In areas where I was weak, he shined. We complimented each other in many ways. More than anything, I will miss laughing with Benny.

2017, Southern Illinois
Benny drove me and my daughter to the Garden of the Gods to see the solar eclipse. We stopped in Funks Grove on the way down and camped on the side of a very rocky and uncomfortable cliff. The tent got so hot and muggy I ended up sleeping right outside on the bare ground. Ben never complained and my daughter had the experience of a lifetime. I cherish those memories.
