Belinda Louise Mestas

Belinda, known to most as Linda, went peacefully at her home in Las Animas, Colorado to be with the Lord and her eldest son Jessie on December 10th, 2022.  She was 57 years old. Born June 13th, 1965 to Richard and Victory Mestas, Linda was the oldest of three children. She is survived by her husband Jesse Payne, parents Richard and Victory Mestas, brother Richard (Angie, Miranda and Josh), sister Jennifer (Jerry, Casandra and Zach) and sons Jerame (Jade, Elijah and Isaiah) and Juctine.

Linda was a creative free spirit who loved crafting, rock and roll, and any and every creature she came across, whether it was a stray cat or an injured bee, she made sure they were taken care of.

Although she was taken far too soon, her memory will live on with those she impacted throughout her life.
