Belete Fikru, age 62, lost his two year battle against Stage 4 Lung Cancer on November 28, 2023
Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Belete attended Kokebe Tsebha before migrating to the United States in 1981 where he attended Penn Valley Community College before obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Respiratory Therapy at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Belete Fikru worked as a respiratory therapist at the University of Kansas for 33 years where …
