My condolences to Belen Eloisa's family. I first met Belen Eloisa through work at Optum over 2 years ago and we would often collaborate on team meetings and projects. She was a ray of sunshine on calls and always willing to go above and beyond. She will be greatly missed.
Gerry and I met Belen several years ago . We had the privilege of spending time with Belen every time she would visit her sister Agnes and brother in-law Craig. I will always remember her sweet smile . Belen knew that “ life is not about surviving the Storm ….. it’s about learning to dance in the rain “. Belen always found Joy in each day. Belen you left an impression on our hearts…. what an honor it was has been to call you our friend. Karla & Gerry O’Neill
Belen was a ray of light to all who knew her. Her optimism, positivity, and careful nature will be missed greatly.  Wishing all family and friends healing. Cherish all the beautiful memories Belen has created in our lives.  Rest in peace my dear friend. ~Andrew

We got to know Belen through her visits with her sister, Agnes (and her husband Craig), our neighbors and good friends. She was so sweet, kind, fun and so brave through her battle with cancer. We are heartbroken for Agnes and all of her family on the loss of Belen. Sending much love and prayers for comfort and peace  to Agnes and all of Belen’s family. ❤️
Like so many stories that may be posted here, mine is no different. I started at Optum in March of 2021. Belen and I worked together to cover our Indiana providers. Coming into a new company and not knowing any of the steps, Belen never hesitated to jump on a call to help walk me through what to do in different scenarios. Her warm and friendly personality was able to shine through when we was able to attend our state medicaid conference and she immediately was herself and could talk with anyone. While my time ended with Optum just prior to 2023, Belen would still reach out to see how me and my family were doing as well as check in on my garden. She will be greatly missed and I pray for all who were impacted by Belen to find peace, but also to be more like Belen, always happy to help, even if she is helping the same person on something she has helped them with 10 other times. She exhibited charity as well as any person I have met.
Belen was in town for Kyle’s (Agnes and Craig’s son) going away party in 2023–he was moving to Arizona (I may have the year wrong). Agnes and Craig had a party for him at their house and after, we all went to a Karaoke bar somewhere in Olathe. I’ll never forget singing ‘Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey as a duet with Belen. We had a blast!! It’s such a fun memory of her I’ll never forget 😊
When I first started at Optum it was a little overwhelming and I was having issues with finding out some information. I was told contact Belen, she knows a lot. She was so kind to me and always helped me with anything I needed. She was a true warrior and I looked up to her. I know she will watch over her friends and family from above everyday. I pray she is at peace. God bless you all.
Sending love, hugs, and thoughts.  Belen was one of the first individuals I met at Optum.  She was critical in my place with Optum and continued to lead the way in many areas.   She was always kind and had a calming sense, I could count on her.  I will miss the messages she sent to the team each holiday and the greetings in the morning.   May peace be with you during this time.
