I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Elbert.
I was a student of hers in 7th grade. She was definitely one of the best teachers.
I remember visiting her when I went to high school and she always greeted me with a smile and a hug. That was in 1983.
In 1991 I was in the Army and I was able to connect with her again and I was actually amazed that she remembered me, my sister (that she also was a teacher for in 7th grade) and my mom and dad.
I can honestly say that Mrs. Elbert has always been and always will be an inspiration in my life.

I'll never forget Mrs. Elbert. She was one of the first people I met in WISD five years ago. She was friendly and so kind. She was also one of the hardest workers I've ever known. She had a true passion for her job. I'll always remember her beautiful smile and gentle personality. I will miss her friendship, but will always keep her memory in my heart.

So sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Becky in Waller, TX and have fond memories of her. Gone far too soon but will always be remembered. Prayers to the family and rest in peace Becky.
