In memory of Beatrice J. Farr, Ph.D., a truly remarkable woman, born on January 20, 1933, who departed this life on October 16, 2003. Beatrice was predeceased by her father, Harry Dreizen, her mother, Rose Dreizen, and her brother David Dreizen. Beatrice was followed in death by her beloved husband, Marshall J. Farr, Ph.D. (https://everloved.com/life-of…) her beloved son, Jory Farr (https://everloved.com/memoria…) , and her dear sister, Louise Hefter. Her vibrant spirit lives on through her loving son, Evan Farr, his wife Jeannie, and her cherished grandchildren Zak, Josh, Hannah, and Tim.

Beatrice wedded her life partner, Marshall, in 1951 and embarked on a more than 50-year journey filled with love, laughter, and discovery. Beatrice was a proud alumnus of Brooklyn College, where she earned a B.A. in English in 1951, and later at The Catholic University of America, where she attained a PhD in Psychology in 1976. Her illustrious professional journey began in 1976 at the Army Research Institute, where she worked tirelessly as a research psychologist until her retirement in 1999 , with numerous notable accomplishments along the way.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Beatrice was known for her warm, outgoing, and witty demeanor. She lived a life filled with immense joy, a testament to her larger than life personality and relentless positivity. Beatrice was the life of every gathering, and a fantastic chef and hostess. She loved cooking for family and friends, making people laugh, and sharing wild stories. Her life was a lesson in respect, love, and treating her friends as family.

Beatrice took great joy in her accomplishment of earning her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology after raising her two sons. She also took great pride in her pioneering work in human resources psychology and technology transfer. She also took great joy and received much pleasure from her family, her two sons, four grandchildren, her two siblings, and her nine nieces and nephews.

Beatrice left behind a legacy deeply rooted in warmth, love, and the importance of family and cherished friendships. She also left an indelible mark on the importance of having a family while also pursuing a fulfilling career. We cherish her memory and will forever carry her lessons in our hearts.
