Beatrice's obituary

Beatrice "Bee" Ball (née Napoli) of Lodi, New Jersey, passed away on April 18, 2023 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Beatrice was born in Manhasset Beach on September 6, 1927, and attended Lodi High School from 1942-1946. Beatrice married her husband Richard Ball of Lodi in 1954 and together they welcomed their son Richard the following year. Beatrice was known for her kind and selfless nature, as well as her bright and wonderful sense of humor.

In 2020, Beatrice was reunited with her grandson's  William and Tyler and they enjoyed time together doing puzzles and watching basketball. 

Beatrice was a source of inspiration to William during his 2 year battle with early stage Colon Cancer.

Beatrice is survived by her four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Beatrice was preceded in death by Richard Ball Jr (died 1995); Richard Ball Sr (died 1986).

 A memorial service for Beatrice will be held at a later date. No specific time or location has been announced yet. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society, which was a favorite charity of Beatrice's.

 Expressions of condolences and other family wishes can be sent to the family privately.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
