Missing BG today. Wish I could have said goodbye or thank you for all the things he did for us. I hope he is doing good with his mom. Thank you for being our replacement dad. You did a lot and sacrificed a lot. You are remembered with love.
Went to check on BG and found out the bad news. Wish him and the family the best. We lost touch and I couldn’t find him for a while. The obituary doesn’t mention his tenure at Citizen’s Bank of Louisville, Principia college, or, Lee’s famous fried chicken, where he worked for many years as food service director. We went on vacation road trips to Colorado, California, Boston and more. He loved to travel and the outdoors. He got to realize a dream by going on a world cruise a few years back. He helped put me through high school and college, and supported our family for many years in Louisville and Illinois. Lots of fun times living on the Mississippi going to St. Louis. He was always upbeat. I trust and hope he’s in a good place. Thanks for all you did for us, BG. I know it wasn’t always easy.
He was alway's so good to me growing up as his daughter Gail and I were and are best friends. His home was a home away from home the door was alway's open to me. A good man. He called me "peanut butter" lol he was a jokester. Bg you will be missed. Lisa
Worked under Shack at Camp Piomingo for two years. He was a fine man and the world will sorely miss him. Our prayers are with the family at this time and I am sure he is in a better place!
