How you can help
Bay Moore was a young woman who knew that her foundation was in Christ and Christ alone. She knew Jesus.
Bay, along with her mom, dad and 6 siblings, lived directly behind the camp, through the pine trees where her family has been from for generations.
As each camp at Southland approached, she and two of the oldest brothers would eagerly sign up for volunteering…she wanted to serve in whatever way she could. We think she served, volunteered at or attended just about every camp or retreat at Southland.
She washed dishes, she kept children. She waitressed and she became a Barista at the coffee shop. She simply loved to serve!
She truly believed that camp is a place where many people, especially children, find God. He has always been calling to them, but this place was where they came to know Jesus.
Bay’s family feels that the best way to honor the life and legacy of their daughter, for eternal significance, is for all who desire to give something, donate those funds to this ministry. No one from the ministry has asked this, this is from our family.
Bay Moore is rejoicing with her Savior today. She knows no pain, no fear, no loss.
We miss her so much. But we know that things of this world are only temporary, and that our daughters ministry and gifts will best be used at The Bay. Contribute to Southland Christian Ministries
