So sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. We went to high school together and graduated with the class of 79. We have lots of memories with Barry we will always remember his smile and laugh. Praying for you all that God will comfort you in the days ahead.

Back when we were all kids our parents would take us camping several times every summer. One trip in particular, they decided we would go to a new campground. My family had never been there before but his had. Dad wasn't exactly sure how to get there once we left the main road. His parents left the day before we did so Barry swore that he knew exactly how to get there since he had been there before (he was 10 or 11) so he rode with us. Once we left the main road Barry was giving Dad directions to turn here and turn there and he sounded so sure of himself that Dad followed his directions. After about 2 hours (it should have only taken about 45 mi utes) Dad asked him if he was sure we were going the right way. Barry looked up at Dad and said "no I forgot how to get there but I figured Dad would come looking for us if we don't get there by midnight". I can still hear my dad laughing. I don't remember how we finally found it but luckily it was before midnight. As a kid he was always a little spitfire.

So very very sorry for your loss. Although I hadn't seen Barry for a long time it still hurts my heart that he's gone. I'm sure that when he stepped through Heaven's gate his mom and dad were waiting with open arms to escort him in. You are all in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
