We were in Sidney for Christmas this weekend and were shocked to open the paper and see this obituary.  Barry was always kind and willing to do anything for us.  We loved knowing him and are saddened to see this.  Our prayers go out for all of you.
Our prayers go out to Hailey and all your family. Family will help you find your way. Barry was a great friend to grow up with and he will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family.
Very sad, and a bit shocked, to see this in the local paper.
I went to school with Barry from elementary thru graduation.
He flew back for a class reunion…’06 or ‘07? Maybe….I can’t remember exactly, now that I wrote it down I can’t believe it’s been that long. He mentioned he flew his Bonanza here and I asked if we could go up the next day. He didn’t hesitate and said sure, and took my son and I up, but let me fly most of the time. I have pictures, but of course can’t find them. We texted a little here and there after that, and met again for lunch in March of 2018, but I forget why he was back in town. I always figured I’d visit once I retired and started traveling. My wife’s cousin from North Dakota is well known in aviation in that area of the country and had stopped over for a few hours flying a clients new plane back for delivery. I mentioned Barry, and he knew him, so that was a fun conversation.
I've only known Barry the last few years. He was always cheerful and willing to do anything to help. He helped me get my pilot's license finished up and I'll always remember that. I'm going to miss you Barry.
I have a number of good memories of my cool older cousin Barry.  I remember when he used his wrist rocket to shoot fireworks into the sky in true Holzworth fashion when his family visited one 4th of July.  I remember his affinity for the 'B' tractor  on the farm.  I remember that he introduced me to Marvel comics long before they were the rage. I miss the way he would shake his head when he was reaching the climax of a yarn he was spinning about Travis or Gordon Klempel.  R.I.P. Barry.
To an awesome pilot, a great person, and an amazing Dad.  It going to be hard to visit my hangar knowing you won't be around to get some advice from and share some laugh's.  Keep an eye on me and well see you soon at a much higher altitude !
So sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. I have fond memories of him! Prayers for family and friends 🙏
We only knew Barry as a child, but we keep in touch with his parents,
my cousin and his mother Marguerite, on a very regular basis. So sorry to hear of Barry's passing. No parents should have to lose a child. My condolences.
I am so sorry about this. Barry was such a fun guy! In our teens when he visited Montana in the summers, his cousin Teri and us other country kids would hang out at times and he was fun and funny! Loved those times! I bet him and his daughter had a great time together…flying or just by being together! He just always seemed like he would be a great dad! Praying for you all at this time. -Cami (Buller) Mahoney
Gonna miss ya my friend……..until we meet up again, keep watch over us down here as you & Klempel fly around up there!
I was so saddened to read of Barry’s passing. He was such a nice man with a caring heart. He was so happy when he became a dad. My prayers to his family for peace.
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Barry.Always enjoyed visiting with him at family gatherings.
