With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Barry Bolden, a devoted husband, loving father, and friend to many. Born on November 1, 1956, he passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Bolden, who stood by his side and filled his life with love and companionship.

Barry had an insatiable appetite for life. He savored his favorite foods of meatloaf and potatoes, often washed down with glasses of almond silk milk. He found great pleasure in simple, homey dishes, a testament to his humble and appreciative personality.

An avid reader, Barry was known to immerse himself in books about repairing and fixing things. His favorite music included soulful tunes by artists like Anita Baker and Franky Beverly and Maze. His passion for car shows and his favorite movies, US Marshall, The Fugitive, and Training Day, showcased his love for action and adventure.

As a staunch supporter of the NY Giants, Barry's enthusiasm for sports was infectious, bringing joy and excitement to those around him. He also reveled in the tranquility of fishing at local lakes and was the life of family gatherings and barbecues, often regaling guests with his jokes.

Barry cherished his recreational days of fishing and traveling to visit family and friends. He preferred long-distance walks for exercise and his favorite vacation spots, Disney World and Florida, mirrored his cherished love for fun and family. He also loved dining at The Golden Corral, appreciating the varied food options.

The color blue was Barry's favorite, reflecting his serene and peaceful nature. He was known for his compassionate personality, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. One of his proudest achievements included his service in the Marine Corps, highlighting his dedication and commitment to serve and protect.

Barry's legacy will forever be marked by his love for family, especially his three granddaughters, nieces, and nephews. He loved to cook delicious meals, often filling his home with mouth-watering aromas reminiscent of his love and care.
