Barbara's obituary
Barbara Ellen Whiteley went home to Jesus on July 1, 2022 at age 74.
Barbara was born to Robert Essex and Betty Pistoni on on August 05, 1947, in San Francisco, Ca. She was raised by Sillvio Pistonis (step dad). She married Michael Whiteley on August 26,1995. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Barabara also loved putting together puzzles, reading camping and spending time with her husband Michael, riding his motorcycle. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.
Barbara joins her mother and stepdad, Silvio and Betty Pistonis and her dad, Robert Essex who have already passed in Heaven.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 27 years, Michael Whiteley, sister Catherine Budincich of Aladena, CA, sons James(Shanna) Mannings of Glen's Ferry, Id, Ryan Whiteley of Peoria, Az and two daughters Candice (William) Morgan of Bremerton, Wa., Christina (Kenneth) James of Denton, Texas.
Barbara's immense love for her church, her husband and family was evident in the joy she so often expressed in them. Her interest in children was manifest in the daycare she owned and operated for approximately 15 years. She enjoyed doing art projects and taught art classes at Apostolic Learning Center.
She is a grandmother to five grandchildren; Heather, Tiffany and Marcus Wark & Caleb and Ashley Heninger as well as one great grandchild: Jaxton Parsons.
