Barbara's obituary
Mom, you are loved by many and greatly missed. You had a beautiful spirit. You were a very strong person. Family was always important to you and we always knew you were immensely proud of us. Family get togethers were always very important to all of us. You LOVED to laugh and make others laugh. We will always remember your smile, your warmth and your love for family.
We hope you are enjoying your hobbies of reading, knitting and crocheting, doll collecting and listening to your music. All while you have all your dogs around you. Your love of dogs was HUGE.
You are now with Grandma C and all the others who went to Heaven before you. Like the poem you had hidden in your bathroom drawer, "I'm free" by unknown. You are now free of all things that have caused you difficulties in the last at least 5 years.
You were taken unexpectedly and we didn't want to see you go. God came and took your hand and led you home to get your wings. You were an angel to us on earth and now you are an angel in heaven. Tanner and Bailee said "Gdog is now an angel always watching over us".
The love between a mother and daughter is forever. I love you Mom!
Barbara is survived by the people that loved her. Her sons, David Gonzales (Lisa) and Dan Gonzales and daughter, Dee Anne Briel (Michael) . Her sisters, Debbie Thornton (Ken), Lynn Wheeler (Lee Werner) and Nancy Conant (Terry). Her grandkids, Tanner and Bailee Briel and Denise and Amanda Gonzales. Great grandchildren, Mark and Moses.
