Barbara's obituary
Barb was born in the Des Moines area on July 10th, 1947 to Russell and Hope Reeves. Barb’s hobbies included antique collecting, painting, genealogy and sewing. She loved Elvis, angels and chocolate.
Barb is proceeded in death by her father Russell Louis Reeves, husband Gene Ridgeway, daughter Robin Marie Ridgeway, sister Rita Minor, great grandson Ashton Gilliland and great granddaughters Tyanna Richardson and Aleena Coe.
She was survived by her mother Hope Marie Reeves, brother Russell “Rusty” (Jane) Reeves Jr., children Rebecka Ridgeway, Richard (Shelley) Ridgeway and Tammy (Chad) Richardson. As well as 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Barb will be placed to rest next to her husband, Gene, at Lowman Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa in a private family ceremony.
A small service will be held at Genesis Senior living Center in Des Moines at a date yet to be determined.
