Barbara "Barb" (Coniglio) Porro (age 78) of Mission, Kansas, peacefully entered eternal life on Tuesday afternoon, November 3, 2020, with loved ones near and under the care of Saint Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Barb was born in Oak Park, Illinois on September 30, 1942 to Vincenzo "James" Coniglio and Angeline (Guerino) Coniglio. Barb was a Christian Scientist and a devoted member of Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist; and she worked tirelessly to be an earnest follower of her faith. She worked over the years doing some Christian Science nursing, self-employed caretaker/organizational services, part-time at a law office, U.S Postal service mail carrier; and as a bookkeeper. Barb was a loyal and devoted friend to many, and she loved being a grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Patricia (Coniglio) Hemingway-Ansman. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Porro) Funk and husband Patrick, and grandsons Jacob A. Funk and Luke A. Funk.

The deceased requested cremation and no funeral or church services. Her wishes are to have her ashes spread where the river bends in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. A Memorial service will be held at a later time; information for location and date will be posted to this webpage.
