Barbara Ann Pickott, 68, passed away on April 9, 2021. She was born December 26, 1952 in Lansing to Wallace and Esther Guile. She was a dedicated social worker with the State of Michigan for many years. Which turned her passion and love for children into a fulfilling career while she raised her own children.

Barbara was a dedicated mom first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a Grandma.

She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She opened her heart and her home to anyone that needed it!

She had a loving personality and always made people around her laugh. She enjoyed games like Skipbo and Tonk. She was very fond of puzzles like word searches and crosswords. Along with those, she also loved crocheting and needlepointing.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael Pickott, Ryan (Ricci) Pickott, and Lindsay (Zachary Arbour) Filipiak; grandchildren, Austin Hogarth, Gavin Pickott, Brookelyn Walkinhood, Blake Filipiak, and Karis Filipiak; and siblings, Sharon Guile and Randy Guile.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mikey.

A private Memorial Gathering will be held on April 30th for immediate family.
