Barbara Ann Monda 1939 - 2022

In loving memory of our mother, Barbara Ann Monda, age 83. Born on April 11, 1939, in Cleveland, OH to James Theodore Passerell and Julianna Passerell (Mattes), passed away peacefully in her home on June 11, 2022. She was a loving mother of 5 children, grandmother of 7 grandchildren, and great grandmother of 6 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Growing up, Barbara was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was the woman who instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

In her retirement years Barbara enjoyed gardening, reading, birdwatching and puzzles.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, sister Virginia May La Cluyse, brother Theodore James Passerell. She is survived by her sister Georgine Marie Passerell, her 5 children, Regina Bell (James Kirkwood), James Anthony Monda (Teresa Lynn), Lauren Mullins (Ronald Lee), Angela Werkheiser (Thomas Nelson), Christina Vickers. Her 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mother, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
