Children become adults who remember. Sis. Maxfield was a light in dark places. I grew up in Payton Temple, an all black church where the Maxfieldโ€™s were the salt in the pepper shaker, but we were a family and the love was real and Sis. Maxfieldโ€™s kindness radiated from the inside out. My thoughts and prayers are with the family today and know the angels rejoiced as Sis. Maxfield walked proudly into the light with her kind signature smile and I hope to see her again someday, if I live right and be obedientโ€ฆ
