Barbara "Bobbie" Smith, 78, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on January 11, 2023 after a battle with lung issues. Barbara lived in Whittier,  California from 1973 till 2020 when she moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to be closer to family 

Barbara was born on August 30th 1944 to Lucien and Ora beth Saunders in Compton , California.  After graduating from Lynnwood High in 1962, she went on to study Rocks and stones at Cal state Fullerton.  After that, she landed her first job as a customer service rep for Sears, she ended career at Sohnon Enterprises .

In 1961 , she met Dennis Smith sr, and they wed in September 5th, 1963, going on to have 3 children, Barbara La Mere,  son-in-law Michael La Mere, Dennis Smith,  daughter-in-law  Kelley Smith. and Jody Gonzales,  son-in-law Stephen Gonzales.  Barbara was in passionate  about panning for gold and bigfoot. We will miss her greatly.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents Lucien and Ora Beth saunders, her husband  Dennis Smith Sr, her sister Carolyn Smith, son-in-law  Michael  La Mere. and daughter Jody Gonzales. She is survived by daughter Barbara D La Mere  and  son Dennis M Smith Jr.  5 grandchildren Justin La Mere with fiance Josie,  Danny Smith  wife Racheal Smith,  Bryan Smith, Douglas La Mere wife Ashley La Mere and Kristina Smith. Great granddaughter Penelope  La Mere. In lieu of flowers,  please plant a tree in her honor.
