Obituary

Barbara Lowe Keates of Huntington passed away peacefully at the Hospice House in East Northport on Tuesday morning, October 26, 2021. She was born in Philadelphia in 1927, the only child of Melville and Katharine Lowe. Barbara grew up in Port Washington, and was valedictorian for the Port Washington High School class of 1946. She graduated from Bradford Junior College in 1948. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and joined …
