Barb loved to bake. Every Christmas she used to have her "elves" (Tom, Tanya, and Chris) help her make an insane variety of Christmas cookies that she would then pack up and deliver to her lengthy list of family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Barb could also be counted on to bake anyone a birthday cake, cookies, or anything else of their choosing. Chris' students used to look forward to visits each year from "Mrs. Thornton's Mom" so they could make cutout cookies at Christmas. Everyone else at Sabal Palm called her Mama Judd and found themselves recipients of many a cake themselves.  We are going to start a club called "Barb's Little Bakers" at Sabal Palm in her memory.
