In Loving Memory of Barbara May Fife, CSB

Barbara May Fife, CSB (née Layfield) passed away peacefully in Boston, MA, on June 25, 2023.

Barbara is survived by her son, Matthew Fife, of Vancouver, BC, and daughter Gillian Fife Rees, and son-in-law, David Rees, both of Stratford, ON. She was a cherished Nana to Charlie Rees. Barbara was predeceased by her wonderful husband and partner, John Charles Fife.

Barbara dedicated decades of her life to the practice and teaching of Christian Science. Her commitment to loving mankind was exemplified in her recent roles as a Member of the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA.

Barbara found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A cup of tea, a favourite book and a cat on her lap. An intimate visit with friends or family.

She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Always quick with her smile and support for anyone she encountered, her warmth and love will be remembered always.
