It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Ann Delisi, who left us on September 11, 2025. She was fiercely independent  and beat to her own drum.   Barbara, known as Nanny to most, loved watching football especially the Washington Commanders and the Alabama Crimson Tide.  She had a passion for planting flowers and loved birds.  She also enjoyed pulling the handle on the occasional slot machine!  But her true passion, was her beloved dog companions that were by her side throughout her life.  She had many friends from her time in banking, her years in the harness racing business and her many years working at the hospital. Barbara will be deeply missed by her four children: Robert and his wife Lisa Delisi, Constance and her husband Brad Merrell, Samuel and his wife Elaine Delisi, and Edward and his wife Karen Delisi. Her legacy also lives on through her 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She also leaves behind extended family and countless friends who will remember her with fondness.

There will not be a formal service at this time.
