Barbara “Mema” Cramer

Barbara “Mema” Cramer, age 86, of Indiana, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 30, 2025. She was born on May 17, 1938, and is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Cramer.

Mema is survived by her son, Ronald Cramer (wife Bonnie); grandchildren Andy Cramer (Courtney), Ron Cramer (Julieann), Monica Carusone (Anthony), Brooke (fiancé Drew), and Logan Cramer; and great-grandchildren Kennedy Cramer, Avery Cramer, and AJ Carusone.

Mema was the heart and soul of her family. She was always there for her grandchildren, whether it was giving them a ride to a hockey tournament or preparing a pot of her famous homemade spaghetti sauce. She never turned anyone away, always ready to feed an extra mouth or welcome a friend into her home.

A true lover of animals, Mema cared deeply for all living things and touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. Her warmth, love, and devotion to family will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family will be holding a small, private family event to honor Mema’s memory. A larger celebration of her life will take place when the weather is nicer, with the date to be determined.

Mema’s memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, and she will be greatly missed.
