Barbara Carr Smith
Barbara Carr Smith, 68, lost her courageous battle with cancer on May 7, 2021. Born Barbara Lee Carr on April 28, 1953 in Washington, D.C., she lived throughout Maryland and Virginia, finally settling in Hughesville, Maryland in 1985. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Smith, and children Lydia Smith and Thomas Smith, Jr.

A Celebration of Life was held for Barbara on June 12th. The celebration was BBQ/pool party style and attended by her extensive family. The weather was great and she would have loved it.
