Barbara Lee Burns went home to be with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior; on October 6, 2020; after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Barbara worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 30 years. She was also a Licensed Beautician. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, friend, prayer warrior and woman of faith. Barbara was to her children the Proverbs 31 woman. Barbara was born in Tryon, NC to Montgomery and Pearle Booker. They proceed her in death. Barbara met and married the late Rev. Henry Allen Burns in Spartanburg, SC. Their union lasted 64 years. From their union were born Boyce, Patricia, Marilyn, Janice, Ukwanni, Gloria and Joyce. They are left to Cherish her memory along with many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren. Barbara will be missed. With her passing, the world is a lot dimmer, and heaven is brighter. Barbara was a member of Victory World Outreach. Service was held October 10, 2020 at the Return to Nature Funeral Home. Cremation followed.
