Barbara Joan Bortz (Ledbetter) age 77 of Bridgeton, NJ passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, April 1st 2025, at home surrounded by family. She was born July 14th, 1947 to her parents, the late Curtis and Rose Ledbetter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Bortz, son Ronald Bortz Jr. , and son Jimmy Bortz.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Phillip) Clevenger ; sister, Deborah Hammond; Grandchildren, Haley (Kailey) Clevenger, Adrianna (Brandon) Gwinnett, and Brittany Bortz; Great Grandchildren, Nyjai Clevenger, Everlynn and Asher Gwinnett, and Caden and Cash Bortz; along with a hosts of cousins.

She was a retired nurse from Bridgeton Hospital. She was a Baptist. She was an avid book reader and loved all crime shows. She left a mark on everyone she met.

No services have been determined at this time. Celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Cremation through McCalla funeral home.
