Bandit's obituary
Our most loved and most cherished good boy Bandit Eugene "Ban Ban • Bandy Boy" Pike passed away on August 05, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. This marks the end of 12 wonderful & laughter filled years with the best dog a family could dream of having. Bandit was loyal, loving, protective, and we were lucky to have spent as much time with him as we did. Bandit enjoyed long hikes at Hibernia Park, Lancaster Central Park & Wolf’s Hallow Park. He enjoyed chasing chipmunks, eating cheese and cuddling with his mommy.
Thank you to the Williams family for sharing Bandit with us. He had 2 families that loved him very much. He was a lucky boy, but we felt like the luckiest to have him in our life. Thank you for your years of friendship and love, Bandit, we will miss you terribly.
Bandit is survived by his mommy & daddy, Mark & Paisha Pike, his 3 sisters; Kelci (Mary) Ward, Morgan Pike, & Riley Pike. He also leaves behind his nephew, Jamison Pike and his nieces; Piper Ward, Charlie Pike & Lo Pike. He also leaves behind his grandparents; Tom & Charlotte Griffith & Dave and Dee Dee Pike, as well as special aunts and uncles who loved him so much.
Bandit was preceded in death by Callie, Kiah, Nahla, and Fiona. I know they were all waiting at the rainbow bridge for Bandy Boy.
Bandit was the bestest boy. The most goodest boy ever. Until we meet again Bandit Eugene.
"To call him a dog hardly seems to do him justice, though inasmuch as he had four legs, a tail, and barked, I admit he was, to all outward appearances. But to those of us who knew him well,
he was a perfect gentleman."
Hermione Gingold
"I have sometimes thought of the final cause of dogs having such short lives and I am quite satisfied it is in compassion to the human race; for if we suffer so much in losing a dog after an acquaintance of ten or twelve years, what would it be if they were to live double that time?"
-Sir Walter Scott (He was a Scottish historian, novelist, playwright and poet).
